Diana Holmes, author of 'Thyroid without Tear's is working on a number of campaigns at the moment. along with the GMC petition she has sent me the following;

I will, with Sir Patrick's permission, be making a presentation to the MP's at the October meeting. With regard to the diagnosis and management of hypothyroidism, the effect the environment is having on the thyroid gland and the effect hypothyroidism is having on society. Dr Skinner will give his views on the subject of hypothyroidism and the problems with diagnosis and management.

There is no date set yet for the October meeting.

If you can motivate people to write again to their MP's to encourage them to attend the meeting in October and to approach Sir Patrick Cormack for more information as he will be convening the meeting

She is also asking for letters or emails from people who have had ME and then found to be
suffering from hypothyroidism and subsequently became well once treatment
