Forgot to ask...memory like a sieve...anybody know much about the link between hypothyroidism and soya ?

My daughter has aspergers/ADD/Dyspraxia/Dyslexia... we altered her diet just over a year ago to gluten and dairy free, consequently we all now eat/drink quite alot of soya and l spotted a link with thyroid problems. So difficult to know what's best 0024

Hi Alicat, I don't know that much about the soya thyroid thing myself, i think it suppresses the thyroid though. I'm trying to find out myself what the "freddie" is with this, keep googling lthyroid/soya to see what comes up. It will take me time though as my brain isn't what it was.  :-<

I use rice "milk", Soya upsets my system and I hate it.  It is supposed to interfere with Thyroxine and Barbara has posted various articles on here that could help, try different threads like general health, or associated problems if you can't see them in this one.
