Writing your own Success Story

(1/1)

Andrew:
We'd  like to  encourage anybody who's struggled with and  perhaps  overcome (even to a small  degree) their thyroid condition to post up  their story for  others to  read.

So  often all  we read on this forum is how they are struggleing to be heard and treated.

It's  often a case that those who  find an good  outcome,  don't come to  a forum such  as ours,  so  we never hear that there are good things that can happen.

If you've managed to  find an answer or even just a good result for a while,  we'd  like you to post up your story,  so  people can read  a positive message and see that there can be light at the end  of the tunnel.

While we'd try not to  encourage people to post a reply to  the story, as they might get a little beried,  if you have been inspired and given  hope by somebody's  tale,  then by all means do post to  let them  know that their story has helped somebody.

Do please put your forum name  in the title so people can  see who's story  it is.  ie...  Andrew's Story .

Be as  long  or as brief as you wish and nobody will  loose marks for spelling  or grammer.  0011

My friend Kim is a success story I think but she's not very savvy at using the forum and her meds are still being adjusted but are working well for her.

I guess the thing is it's difficult for some peeps to say exactly when they feel like a success story if certain things don't resolve for them.

But I would encourage peeps to post on here when they are mostly recovered as it gives hope to us desperate ones!

Must get around to doing a post there sometime. I only hang around here because I enjoy the company and found great help and support earlier, but am one of those who has recovered fully with no symptoms, even though I'll be on thyroxine for life.     Marge
