Just wanted to let you know what's happening with the RLHH and the Early Day Motion in Parliament.

PETITION

The petition seems to have stalled recently and we have still not managed 6,000 signatures! :(  I am mystified as to how this is possible since the homeopathic societies and schools must number 2,000 homeopaths and students between them - if they each asked just two friends or family members to sign we would have reached that figure without even asking patients for support ....... ?

I just finished writing a series of articles published in Homeopathy Today and Similia on the politics behind the current threats; the global legislative trends restricting CAM and by extrapolation potentially homeopathy and  the latest scientific research into potentisation and from all the research I did, I really do believe it's CRUCIAL that we all pull together at this time.  In my opinion it's no coincidence that the focus is on the RLHH since it provides a touchstone for homeopathy around the world.  If homeopathy can be removed from the NHS - not because of lack of funds but because it has been 'proven to be ineffective' then the subsequent media headlines will send shock waves into the current and future homeopathic worlds - and in particular into the developing world. 

( By the way we're now on very solid ground - from some of the most esteemed scientists in the world  and in just the last 5 years, it's official - remedies are NOT THE SAME AS WATER! :) )

PLEASE encourage anyone who has not yet signed to sign as soon as possible - the petition closes on 12th July.

EARLY DAY MOTION IN PARLIAMENT

Again, I'm sending around the information for this and asking that if you haven't already contacted your MP that you do and encourage others to do so as well.  We need 200 signatures to table the motion - we so far have 186!  You can check if your MP has already signed by going to this link:
